Orkut Hit by Bom Sabado Worm

BOM SABABO means good Saturday in Portuguese !! and it is the latest XSS bug which has been found on the social networking site(ORKUT)

An unknown bug hit the Social Network website recently, and not the whole website is crawling with this bug Bom Sabado.



The pop up message bug Bom Sabado hit the Social Network Website Orkut recently. And what this bug Bom Sabado does is it automatically generates message with the word “Bom Sabado” and fills the Scrapbooks.
According to reports the Orkut management is unable to find, if this Bom Sabado is a virus or a script, written by some person to disturb the social network website management and users.
We have learned that the users hit by this bug Bom Sabado should change their password and security questions, as well as log out of the social network and instantly clear the history and cookies from their computers.

he bug Bom Sabado that is connected with cookies sends messages to the people using friends list, so users are advised not to open such scraps.
This is the second attack in this week that is raising questions regarding the security of the social website. Earlier in the week micro blog website Twitter was also jacked by some hacker using a JavaScript.

SYMPTOMS:-
The script running automatically and changes the user profile and it will add some new communities every now and then..

what should a person do , if he is the victim of this bug ?

First person should change the password and report the bug to the orkut team and he shouldnt login until it gets fixed
