7 ways to back up data on Android for free

I think almost everyone here, like me, must have already passed the disastrous moment to lose everything or almost all of the Smartphone memory because he forgot to make a backup of data.





I had this problem earlier this week. Luckily, I managed to retrieve the most important part. Even so, I lost several photos of a show and now I have to do!

So I decided to write this post with tips on data backup applications for Android. All are free! Check out:

1- No Apps! By Android itself

 

 Android has a very powerful feature to backup data for smartphones . However , few people know ! It's simpler than you think .

You only need to follow two steps . To start with , enable the synchronization of your device by going to Settings - > On the go Google Account . Click the name of your Gmail and select all options . Then return to the settings of the device , the Personal part - > go to Backup and Restore and select both options , be sure to check in " Account Backup " is checked the Gmail account you use.

From now on , when you reset the phone to factory settings or switching device , just logging in with your Gmail account , all your applications installed on the current phone will be downloaded from Google's servers, and their messages , passwords Wi Fi networks - and other settings .

This is without doubt one of the best applications in the field of backups. The Backup & Restore app allows you to save data from all applications and further information saved by apps. Supports backup of applications on external SD card.

4 – SMS Backup & Restore


Want to backup all your messages safely? SMS Backup & Restore solves the problem and does much more. It supports scheduling backups, saving a long time user, and allows save them anywhere you like, including the External SD card.

 5 - Titanium Backup (Free Version)





Titanium Backup Pro is one of the most established applications that require Root Google Play and the free version does not go away. Free Titanium Backup allows you to save all your apps and data, permits to remove native apps from Android "kill" processes, among other features. The downside is that the device requires Root.

6 – Clickfree Mobile Backup




Surely, the Clickfree Backup Mobile is one of the most useful apps on our list. Besides making backups efficiently all applications and data, permits still store them in internal memory, SD Card or External servers in the cloud as Skydrive, Google Drive, Dropbox and SugarSync.

7 - ASTRO File Manager


 If you are those who prefer something more "manual", you must download the ASTRO File Manager. In addition to a common manager, ASTRO is also a good backup application.

You can back up your applications and store them on the external SD card. To back up, open the menu to the right of the app, go to Application Manager and select create a backup. To restore a backup, make sure that the backup is in the originally created by ASTRO folder!

You can handle the backup files, provided that when you want to restore them, put them in the folder created by the application. Thereafter, repeat the backup process. At the end, select the option to restore a backup, and voila, all done.
