I know that there are so many users who are not using XP and They are using the upgrdade version but here i want to share something for those users who are still using XP

The more you use your computer, the slower it seems he is. Sometimes this can be true. Compiled a series of 15 tips that should leave your computer at least somewhat faster.
1) RAM = velocity

The most important equipment in time to gain speed is the memory. The more RAM, the faster the machine. Much of the tips to make the fastest PC, revolve around how to better utilize its memory.
2) Do not leave open applications that do not use

Go run and type "msconfig" and click OK. Go to the boot tab and uncheck the startup items you do not use. These are the programs that Windows runs at boot time. Click OK and reboot the machine. Very careful not to deselect items important: if you do not know what is best left that way.
3) Disable visualization options

Open the Control Panel and click System. Open the Advanced tab and in Performance, click the Settings button.Visual effects tab, select "Adjust for best performance" option.
4) Paging File

Who has enough RAM (at least 1GB) can disable the pagefile that Windows XP uses. This file is an aid to memory, but in HD. As the RAM is much faster than the HDD, the speed increases. However, if you have the habit of opening too many programs at once this option is not recommended, since then the RAM auction.
5) RAM without dll

Sometimes preserves Windows library files (. dll) in memory even after the application has exited. This is done so that if the program is reopened, it is not necessary to reload the dll.
To change this, go to run and type "regedit" and click OK. Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersion Explorer folder. Create a new key inside AlwaysUnloadDLL called with value 1. Close the program and restart the machine.
6) Automatic indexing

Windows XP is an index of all files on the hard drive for easy time to do a search. This process can slow down the computer and occupies memory. To disable this service, go to Control Panel and open "Add or Remove Programs". Go to "Add / Remove Windows Components" and uncheck the "Indexing Service" item, then click Next.Keep in mind that your computer will be faster, but searches are slower.
7) BootVis

Microsoft has developed a tool that performs an analysis of the items in startup and ranks them in order to run faster. The program, called BootVis, is no longer distributed by the company on the site, but can easily be found on the download web sites. The boot speed is considerably improved with the use of the application.
8) Update drivers

Keep your video drivers and motherboard days. Often the drivers contain updates that make a big difference.
9) Disk Cleanup

Make at least once a month a disk cleanup. Click My Computer on the desktop. Right click on the icon of your main hard drive and go to "Properties". Beside the capacity chart, there is a button labeled "Disk Cleanup". Click.
10) Upgrade Windows

Visit the site often for updated Windows. Download all updates always calls "critical".
11) Do not partition the HD

Windows works with slower hard drives with partitions. Data are no longer protected in different partitions and reinstall a system is not required formatting.
12) Clean your computer

at least once a year, open the the computer and with a fan expire dust and dirt, as well as making sure that the fans are working correctly.
13) Antivirus

Antivirus is a type of program that makes your computer slower. All information that the machine processes or pass it inspects the network, making it slower. Still, it is a key for machine protection program. The solution is to choose a product that uses little RAM. See the websites of security firms (eg, McAfee - www.mcafee.com / en / default.asp) to see what your PC needs.
14) Number of sources

with more than 500 PCs installed fonts are enough nerds. Try to keep less loaded fonts.
15) Disable System Restore

System Restore can be very helpful when problems but save all that data consumes literally several Giga. To disable the restore function, open the Control Panel, click System and open the "System Restore" tab. Uncheck "Turn off System Restore" and click OK.
